About the Artwork:
"Falling Stars" The story of how the spotted quoll got it's spots.

Story:

In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
a creature wakes, at close of day.
A coat of russet, soft and deep,
a secret that the forest keeps.

With keenest sight, from dusk to night,
it emerges from the fading light.
But look, upon its dappled fur,
a constellation seems to stir.

For legend whispers, soft and low,
of how these brilliant markings glow.
When stars ignite the velvet sky,
some tiny fragments, pure and bright,
Descend upon the darkest night.

They fall as stardust, gleaming clear,
to settle on the quoll so near.
Each falling star, a tiny gleam,
Adorns the quoll, with a cosmic dream.
A gift from the heavens, high above,
a testament to starlit love.

When it hunts, with silent tread,
through moonlit leaves and mossy bed.
The spotted quoll, a living grace,
carries the night upon its face.

A walking galaxy, wild and free,
a wonder for the world to see.
